The new ownership group of the Miami Dolphins and Dolphin Stadium desired to make a splash and at the same time bring the organization closer to the local community. Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross announced that world-renowned artist Romero Britto will be bringing Land Shark Stadium alive through his iconic art.
Kosmo Studios adapted the Britto artwork to fit the over-sized scale of the stadium, printed thousands of linear feet of vinyl with Britto’s artwork, and then wrapped almost the entire stadium with the art.
The stadium’s helixes and gate entrances are adorned by Britto’s high-energy and vibrant art, adding life and a touch of South Florida to the venue. In connection with the Dolphins celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, children from various community organizations under the Brazilian artist’s direction helped paint the helix bases with Britto’s pulsating colors and pop themes.
